15. Do you charge for setup and tearing down your equipment?
a. No, we do not charge extra for setting up or tearing down.  The time contracted is for continuous music throughout your event.  In other words, if you book Spectrum Sounds for 6 hours, 6:00pm to 12:00am, we provide uninterrupted music for that time.

19. If we want a song and it's not in your music database, do we have to furnish the song?
a. No, Spectrum Sounds will make every possible effort to find your song.  Over the past 15 years, we have found many sources to locate hard to find or obscure music for our clients.  If you have the music, Spectrum Sounds allows you to furnish the music.  If you think Spectrum Sounds doesn't have certain artists or songs, we allow our customers to bring that the day of the event as well.  Compatible music file formats are CD, wav or mp3.

20. Why are you so expensive?
a. Although our prices may appear more expensive than other DJs in our area, my rate is actually averaged out of the prices of 10 DJ companies in the Rochester area.  As I have been told, Spectrum Sounds' pricing with 23 years of experience is actually below the industry pricing standard for DJs in Western NY.

21. What happens if my DJ gets sick or is unable to be there?
a. In 23 years, it has happened only a few times where an emergency has occurred and the scheduled DJ was unable to DJ the event.  I am prepared for every event with a scheduled backup DJ.  My company and many other DJ companies in the Rochester area have created a network of professionals who will handle an unfortunate emergency to ensure that your event will have a quality DJ
